Data Deletion Request

Data Deletion Request

At Loop28, we believe you should have total control over your fitness data. In compliance with privacy regulations and app store requirements, we provide straightforward ways to manage, reset, or permanently delete your information.

How to Manage Your Data in the App

The most efficient way to manage your data is directly within the Loop28 app. These actions are processed immediately.

1. To Reset Your Training Progress: If you want to clear your training history and session results but keep your account active, go to:

  • Settings -> Account -> Reset my Account

2. To Permanently Delete Your Account and Data: If you wish to erase all records of your existence on our platform, go to:

  • Settings -> Account -> Delete Account

What happens when you select “Delete Account”?

  • Personal Identifiers: Your email address and unique User ID are purged from our authentication system.
  • Fitness Data: All recorded session results, heart rate data points, and training seeds are permanently erased from our database (Google Firebase).
  • Irreversibility: Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

Manual Deletion Requests

If you have already uninstalled the app and wish to request data deletion without re-installing it, please contact us via email. For security purposes, the request must come from the email address associated with the account.

  • Contact Email: support@loop.app
  • Subject Line: Data Deletion Request
  • Processing Time: We will verify and process your request within 30 days.

Important Note on Subscriptions

Please be aware that deleting your Loop28 account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription managed by Apple or Google.

Because your billing is handled by the App Store or Google Play Store (via RevenueCat), you must cancel your subscription through your device’s subscription settings to avoid future charges. Loop28 Ltd does not have the authority to cancel these third-party billing agreements on your behalf.

Data Retention Policy

As part of our commitment to data minimization, Loop28 automatically deletes accounts and all associated data for users who have not logged into the app for 12 consecutive months, unless they have an active paid subscription.
