Terms of Service

Welcome to Loop28. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Loop28 mobile application (the “App”) and the website loop28.app, operated by Loop28 Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Safety

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use Loop28. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
  • Medical Disclaimer: Loop28 provides automated training plans for informational and motivational purposes only. We are not a medical organization. Our plans are not medical advice or a substitute for professional consultation.
  • Consultation Required: You must consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new physical training program. This is especially critical if you have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or other medical conditions.
  • Assumption of Risk: Physical exercise involves inherent risks. You acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury. If you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Service Tiers: Loop28 offers a free base service and a paid monthly subscription for premium features.
  • Billing: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription settings. As all transactions are managed by the app stores, any refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google.

3. Account Management & Data Deletion

We provide you with full control over your data directly within the App.

  • Resetting Your Data: You may clear your training history at any time via:Settings -> Account -> Reset my Account
  • Deleting Your Account: You may permanently erase your account and all associated data via:Settings -> Account -> Delete Account
  • Subscription Responsibility: Please note that deleting your account does not cancel your subscription with Apple or Google. You must cancel the subscription in your store settings to prevent further charges.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: Loop28 Ltd owns all rights to the App, including its code, branding, logos, and the unique logic used to generate training plans.
  • Usage License: We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial fitness training. You may not decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Service Availability: The App is provided “as-is.” While we aim for constant availability via Google’s Europe-west2 servers, we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Legal Limits: To the maximum extent permitted by the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, Loop28 Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
